Kim Krugman




Kim Krugman is Vice President and Chief Counsel, Brokerage Services at Jones Lang LaSalle (NYSE:JLL), a Fortune 500 commercial real estate services and investment management provider with its global headquarters located in Chicago. In her role Chief Counsel, Brokerage Services, Kim’s primary responsibility for a myriad of issues relating to JLL’s U.S. brokers, including without limitation, advising JLL brokers’ on risk avoidance and mitigation, litigation, collections, employment issues, solution strategies, and working with outside counsel to develop litigation strategy and supervising implementation.  Prior to joining JLL in June 2015, Kim was Chief Counsel and Director of Human Resource services for Avison Young. There, Kim had integral responsibilities with all legal, HR, insurance, and risk matters. She started her legal career at the global law firm of Coudert Brothers in San Francisco. In 1998, she returned to Chicago, joining law firms of Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg and then Much Shelist. In 2006, Kim went in-house at Grubb & Ellis Company as its sole in-house litigator, handling all of the company’s disputes and litigation. Kim is a former judicial extern for former Chief Judge Terry J. Hatter, Jr. at the United States District Court for the Central District California. She is licensed to practice law in the states of California and Illinois and has been a certified mediator since 2000.

Kim holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University and earned her Juris Doctor from the SCALE Program at Southwestern University School of Law, where she was on the Dean’s List, Law Review, a Moot Court Honor’s Program member, and the recipient of several other awards.
